Uusikaupunki's Kuvala Cinema is one of the oldest movie theaters in the country, having started its operations back in 1924. Today, Kuvala is a fully digital and modern premiere cinema.
Movie enthusiasts should take advantage of Kuvala's diverse program, featuring new releases. The schedule includes domestic films, foreign films, and children's movies. Some showings also offer descriptive Finnish subtitles for the hearing impaired, and audio description is available through the MovieReading app.
Tickets can be purchased in advance from Kuvala's website or on-site at the ticket kiosk in the theater. The website also allows you to check seat availability for showings. Phone reservations are not possible. Our ticket office opens half an hour before the first showing of the day and remains open during showings.
