The cultural centre Cruselli is a versatile meeting place for culturally minded people in Uusikaupunki. Cruselli hosts a large proportion of local events, including monthly art exhibitions, as well as various meetings and training events.

The cultural centre Cruselli was built in 1989 and it got its name from the composer Bernhard Henrik Crusell (1775-1838) who was born in Uusikaupunki.

The Cruselli hall is the largest and most versatile space in the building. Every year, numerous theatre, music and circus performances are organised in there, as well as various conferences, seminars and training events. The Uusikaupunki theatre has also been using the Cruselli stage since the early days of the cultural centre. During breaks, you can enjoy refreshments in the lobby  while admiring the sea view, or visit the art gallery in the Liljelund hall on the ground floor of the building. The Nervander and  Ekman conference rooms are also located on the ground floor.

On the ground floor there is also a recreation room which is available for reservation. The recreation room holds band instruments and some room for visual arts.

You can find the Uusikaupunki Theatre office by the ticket sales point on the top floor, and the Uusikaupunki Cultural Services office on the ground floor next to the art exhibition.

Hotel Aquarius is also housed in the same building, which is convenient for visitors travelling from further away.

Anyone can organise events at the cultural centre Cruselli! You can organise all kinds of events, from concerts to conferences. Our employees will help you every step of the way. The conference rooms are also available for smaller meetings or events in mind.
